Mixed stitch patterns lend structure of Jeannie Chin’s top, knit in Kolláge Yarns’ “Hope U.S.A. Cotton Worsted.” The body is worked in a diagonal scallop stitch, created by lifting a running thread over the stitches as they’re worked. A reversible banded rib makes up the hem, cuffs and shawl collar, which is picked up and worked once the body is complete.
