071 - Save The Hooters Owl Earflap Cancer Hat
This pattern was designed for my co-worker’s wife who was just recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. The hat in these photos is the first one made and will be given to her as part of a gift basket I am putting together for her.
Materials Needed:
1 Skein Lion Brand Homespun – Cherry Blossom
(5) Bulky
Red Heart Super Saver – Lt. Raspberry (small amount for trim & ribbons)
Red Heart Super Saver – Baby Pink (small amount for beak and eyes)
(optional) – Martha Stuart Pink Glitter eyelash yarn
Yarn Needle
Stitch Marker
F, H hook (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Gauge: With H hook, 3 SC Rows = 1” 3 SC Stitches = 1”
Stitches:
CH: chain
DC: double crochet
SC: single crochet
SLST: slip stitch
