Pattern description from Vogue Knitting, Holiday 2007: “Lipp Holmfeld’s circular take on the traditional Russian ushanka hat relies on a plush combo of Trendsetter yarns. The cap, earflaps and back neckpiece are knit with a double strand of ‘Boboli’ while the fur effect is created off a base chain of ‘Curly’ with a crocheted loop stitch.”

“Faux-cabled hat with ear and front flaps and looped trim. Sized for one size and shown on page 68.”
