Pattern description from Knit.1, Winter 2007/2008: “Short rows, long lines, big payoff: Mari Lynn Patrick’s flirt of a dress, in ‘Cashmere Merino Silk DK’ and ‘Kid Mohair’ from Sublime/KFI, is worked horizontally, with short rows creating the flared skirt. The bodice is stitched separately and sewn on - or you can leave it off, thread elastic through the waistband and keep things skirty.”

  • 5 (6, 6) balls in #13 Ebony (A) of Cashmere Merino Silk DK by Sublime/KFI, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 127yd/116m (merino/silk/cashmere)
