Bergere De France are renowned for their stylish and modern knitting patterns for all ages. This is a project that could bring delight to a younger member of the family! A practical and pretty dress to be worn in the summer months with a hat and sandals, or it could be worn with leggings for a cooler time of year.

Pattern calls for knitting in one piece as a flat garment to achieve the solid colored sleeves and sewing up the single side upon completion of the garment.. I opted to have stripped sleeves and knit in the round putting the stitches on a holder to be completed after the body of the dress was complete. I also removed the extra stitch on the two sides that were to be sewn together upon completion of the original pattern.
