Pattern description from Knit.1, Summer 2007: “The Ginkgo biloba tree is essential a living fossil, but Annie Modesitt’s impressionistic fiber portrait is more dynamic than dinosaur. Worked in four colors of Lion Brand Yarn’s ‘Wool-Ease,’ the chart is rendered in intarsia panels defined by embroidery, with ribbing on the sleeves and back and rolled edges at the hems and round neck.”
