To create the sheer-and-opaque patina on her lace-and-cable pullover, Zukaite adds bobbins of “Soft Bamboo” to a lace background of “Silky Cashmere Fingering,” both from Lotus Yarns/Trendsetter Yarns. The slim ribbed sleeves are worked with the lighter-weight yarn held double.
