The strands decrease gradually down to three for the petal-like sleeves, and the back is finished with a separately knit ruched pleat. The skirt’s body is worked sideways incorporating darts through the hips, and is finished with a crocheted waistband, curly crocheted fringe and a ruffled edge. The front and back of the top are worked separately with two strands held together, shaping at the side seams and bust darts.
