SUMMARY: This is a woman’s round-neck cardigan with long, fitted cap sleeves. The body is worked flat while the sleeves are worked separately in the round. The cardigan body and sleeves feature 3 pattern designs - beginning with a single colour lacy pattern band at the bottom, then a colourwork flower, stem and leaf pattern band, finishing with a single colour mock cable pattern to the neck. The neckband and front plackets are worked in a solid colour using K1, P1 rib rows, then stockinette rows. They are tacked at the front necks and roll outward.

The cardigan is fastened with velvet ribbons sewn to the underside of the front plackets below the neck. The flower pattern area is finished with 5-petal Lazy Daisy stitch flowers embroidered on to the ‘berry’ patterns with a bead and sequin attached in the centre.
