SUMMARY: This is a drawstring closure purse worked in the round. It features 3 distinct pattern designs - beginning with a single colour lacy pattern band at the bottom, then a colourwork flower, stem and leaf pattern band, finishing with a single colour mock cable pattern to the top. The purse is closed with a twisted solid-colour cord carried through a row of picot holes worked near the top of the purse. A twisted solid-colour shoulder cord is made and attached to either side. The flower pattern area is finished with 5-petal Lazy Daisy stitch flowers embroidered on to the ‘berry’ patterns with a bead and sequin attached in the centre.
