Pattern Description from Knit.1, Spring/Summer 2009:
“Elena Malo’s silver shrug lays down a bead you can dance to. It’s shaped with increases in the Tilli Tomas self-sparkler ‘Beaded Plie.’”

Stuff:

• 3 (4, 4) hanks in Atmosphere of Beaded Plie by Tilli Tomas, 3½oz/100g hanks, each approx 150yd/137m (plied silk/beads)
• One pair each size 5 and 6 (3.75 and 4mm) needles or size to get the gauge
• Size 5 (3.75mm) circular needle, 29”/73cm long

Measurements:

• Small (Medium, Large)
• Bust 33 (35, 37)“84 (89, 94)cm
• Length 10½ (11¼, 12)“/26.5 (28.5, 30.5)cm

Notes:

1. Work all 1-st decs 1 st in from the edge. On all RH edges, work ssk; on all LH edges, work k2tog.
2. Work all 1-st incs for armholes (1 st in from the edge), by working a M1.
3. Work all 2-st incs for armholes (1 st in from the edge), by working M1, k1, M1.
4. Try to keep beads on RS as you work.
