Pattern description from Vogue Knitting, Fall 2008: “Koigu Wool Designs, says fan Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, is ‘part of Canada’s plan to take over the world.’ It’s a statement that makes Maie and Taiu Landra, the mother/daughter team behind the esteemed hand-painted yarn company, chuckle with delight. ‘It’s funny,’ says Taiu, ‘because we find that most people don’t actually know we’re Canadian.’ The Estonian-born Maie says this oversize Fair Isle vest, in Koigu’s ‘Kersti,’ is ideal ‘to wear over outer garments or a chunky sweater for extra winter warmth. The two-color Fair Isle bands geometric in patterning add flair. And a nice pin will also add a lot’; wear it to secure the garter-stitch edging.”

“Oversized vest with geometric colorwork and corrugated ribbed hem.”
