Suggested yarn has been discontinued. This pattern was designed for self-striping yarn but could certainly be knitted in other yarns.

Needle size is shown as 6-7mm and 5-6mm circular. It appears that you use whichever size gives you the correct gauge and fabric. The circular needle is used only to pick up and knit neck stitches.
