SUMMARY: This is a woman’s v-neck, optionally ‘buttoned’, long cardigan with pockets, featuring a slip-stitch pattern throughout, worked in a solid colour with colourwork front plackets. The body is worked in one flat piece and the cap sleeves worked separately and sewn in at the finishing stages. The front plackets and neckband are self-faced and picked-up as one from the body and worked onwards. The bottom edges of the cardigan and sleeves are finished with a round of single crochet in a contrasting colour.

There are 2 colourways presented, using 1 Main Colour (C1) and 2 Contrasting Colours (C2 & C3) in Dalegarn Sisik.

YARN REQUIREMENTS: Medium weight yarn (Worsted): C1 – 550 (600, 650, 700, 750) g / 1628 (1776, 1924, 2072, 2220) yds / 11 (12, 13, 14, 15) balls, C2 & C3 – 50g / 148 yds / 1 ball of each colour for all sizes.

GUAGE INFORMATION: 20 stitches over stockinette stitch or garter stitch or 21 stitches over Pattern on size 4 mm (US6) equal 4” (10 cm). An extra long circular needle in sizes 3.5 mm (US4) and 4 mm (US6) or 2 of the same length as used for the body are required to work the front and neck colour placket area. Crochet hooks are used for picking up stitches and finishing the lower edges.

CHARTS INCLUDED: 1 colourwork chart and 4 stitch pattern charts.
