• Hook: Japanese size 3/0 (2.3mm)
• 1 button, 22mm in diameter

Gauge in Pattern A: 1 repeat = 2.9cm, 13 rows = 10cm

Translated directions:

1. Beginning with foundation chains, work the back, front left, and front right pieces in pattern A.
2. Whipstitch (right sides together, inner loops) the shoulder seams (top-right diagram p.35).
3. Seam each side below the armcye with a joining slip stitch/ch3 seam (center diagram p.86)
4. Working downward from the foundation chains, work hem pattern B in one piece.
5. Work edging pattern for front edges/collar and sleeves.
6. Sew on button.
