Pattern Description from Vogue Knitting, Fall 2007: “A loose-fitting bucket-style hat by Lipp Holmfeld shows that the contrast of basic stockinette (on the top) and garter stitch (at the wide turn-up brim) can make a mighty impression. The contrasting brim takes two strands of Blue Sky Alpacas’ ‘Worsted Hand Dyes;’ the crown, just one. An elastic band is threaded through the knitted casing to custom-fit head size.”
