This garment is made of 10 pieces which are sewn together, four each for the front and back, and two sleeves. They are basically differently sized squares that are worked in garter stitch from the first point to the last (reminiscent of dishcloth construction). The schematic shows exactly where each piece goes to form the cardigan. This is a fun knit for any skill level, but especially easy for beginners. You must use self striping yarn to get full effect! “Marvel” has a wonderful texture, too, so it’s especially easy to work.
