Pattern description from Knit.1, Winter 2007/2008: “Peace out, baby! Lisa Carnahan knit the symbol into this adorable pullover intarsia-style, breaking the bicolor borders into full-fledged stripes on the coordinating elastic-waistband pants. Both peaces - er, pieces - are stitched in Alpaca with a Twist’s ‘Punch.’”

  • 4 (5, 6) balls in 1011 Blueberry of Punch by Alpaca With a Twist, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 137yd/125m (alpaca/tencel/nylon)
  • 2 (3, 3) balls #4007 Lime
  • 1 ball #97 Coconut
  • One pair size 5 (3.75mm) needles or size to get gauge
  • One set (5) size 5 (3.75mm) double pointed needles (dpns)
  • Stitch holders & marker, bobbins, 1yd/1m of ¾“/19mm wide elastic sewing needle & thread and large safety pin.
