La Gran is used to work the back and two front pieces in stockinette, with narrow bands of garter stitch at the outer edges. Increases are then worked at the side edges for the dropped shoulders.

FACT: The ribbed lower band is picked up from the cast-on edge of the body and worked down in Liberty Wool, creating an hourglass silhouette.
