Update for Fall 2019:
In 1983, both colorwork patterning and slightly oversized silhouettes ruled. Runway darling Perry Ellis showcased both trends in a statement making pullover that is as eye-catching right now as it was then. The clean black and white graphics are neatly framed with solid black ribbing at the waist, neck, and cuffs. Bold in its simplicity, Ellis’s zebra sweater has consistently been an identifiably beloved and iconic look from our pages. The original yarn was Pingouin Type Shetland. Revisit now and knit this perennially covetable sweater in Jamieson’s of Shetland Double Knitting for the same gauge and crisp colorwork.
