About the pattern:
1989 Blouse is an airy, long sleeved summer blouse made in a simple lace pattern. The pattern’s worked top down, starting at the back of the neck. The back is worked back and forth with increases along both sides to shape the shoulders. Once the back is shaped, you pick up and knit stitches along the front of the shoulders to begin to work the front. You then pick up and knit additional stitches along the sides of the front shoulders, as well as cast on stitches for the bottom of the neckline to seamlessly join the back and front sections. The yoke is then worked in the round, while you shape the sleeves with increases. After a while you also begin to shape the armholes with increases.

After finishing the yoke, the stitches for the sleeves are put on hold, and you cast on stitches to form the armholes. The body is worked in the round and finished with a raw hem. You also work a slim i-cord along the neckline for a neat finish. Finally, the sleeves are worked straight in the round to create that airy look, before you finish them off with a matching raw hem.

Beskrivning:
1989 Blouse är en luftig och långärmad blus med båtringning, stickad i ett enkelt hålmönster. Plagget stickas uppifrån och ner med start vid nacken. Först stickas bakstycket fram och tillbaka, med ökningar längs sidorna för att forma axlarna. Därefter plockas det upp maskor längs axlarnas framkanter för att sticka framstycket. Därefter plockas ytterligare maskor upp längs framstyckets sidor, och det läggs upp maskor för halsringningen, så att bak- och framstycke sömlöst förenas. Oket stickas därefter runt, samtidigt som ärmarna formas med ökningar. Efter ett tag påbörjas även ökningar för att forma ärmhålen.

När oket är färdigt sätts maskorna för ärmarna på en paus, och det läggs upp maskor för ärmhålen. Därefter stickas bålen runt innan den avslutas med en rå kant som matchar hålmönstret. Det stickas ävem en smal i-cord längs halsringningen för en snygg och prydlig avslutning. Avlutningsvis stickas ärmarna runt utan minskningar för att bevara den luftiga känslan, innan även de avslutas med en rå kant.
