“To create the intarsia blocks on her sylvan tunic vest, Sharp held one strand of Trendsetter Yarns’, ‘Merino Cable’ and one of three colors of ‘Dune’—or two strands of ‘Merino Cable’—together at intervals. Worked along with the fronts, the doubled shawl collar extends past the shoulders and is seamed at the back neck.”

Charts: Charts for back and left front charts are provided in the magazine, but chart for the right front is located on the VK Website under “Pattern Help.”

Yarn: Yarn is held double throughout (either two strands of Merino Cable or one strand of Merino Cable and one of Dune). You will need 9 (11) balls of Merino Cable in Color A; 5 (6) balls in Dune, Color B; 4 (5) in Dune Color C; and 3 (4) balls in Dune Color D.
