All three sizes of these baskets are worked flat at the base in garter stitch before stitches are picked up and worked in the round in stockinette. Halfway up, a purl round is worked for the turning ridge, then it’s back to stockinette. The body is folded in half at the purl ridge and sewn in place on the wrong side.
