When Fox effectively cancelled Firefly by putting it on permanent hiatus, the show was martyred. Once a fandom is martyred, it’s next to impossible to bring it back in a way that makes the core fans happy. But maybe, just maybe, Disney could do what Fox could not and bring it back and make it just as good as the original.
