The 2025 Summer Pet Doodle is inspired by sun-loving cats and dogs! With cute sunglasses and swimming essentials, these pets are ready for summer!

The 6 2025 Summer Pet charts include a dog in sunglasses, a cat in sunglasses, a dog on a pool floaty, a cat on a pool floaty, a corgi in a shark life vest, and a cat eating an ice cream cone!

This is a Doodle Series Pattern, which means it includes micro charts intended to be used as mix-and-match colorwork motifs throughout the project. Use the charts in this pattern, or you can substitute ANY other Doodle charts!

This pattern is worked in the round, beginning with a ribbed bottom edge, followed by stranded colorwork, and finishing in ribbing along the top edge.

Approx. 16, 20 (24, 28, 32) in 40, 50 (60, 70, 80) cm finished cowl circumference.

YARN

Any DK, light worsted, or sport weight yarn that meets gauge. Doodles are designed to use leftover yarn, yarn advents, or any other small batches of colorways in your stash. Yarn shown is a suggestion from the Designer. Alternative yarns are encouraged.

Sample uses Yarnaceous Fibers Bronto DK base, 85% Superwash Merino Wool / 15% Nylon, 100 g skeins, 246 yards 225 m.

Yardage listed in total yards per size in colorwork due to the customizable nature of this pattern.
