This little jumper is inspired by the Setesdal sweater with bands of traditional motifs on the bodice and the bottom of the gathered skirt and “lice” sprinkled over the rest. The shape references traditional bunads and the total effect is a special dress for a little girl celebrating a festive occasion like the 17th of May.

You will need 2 small pewter clasps for the bodice closure.

Yardage above reflects full skeins of the two colors used. Actual usage will vary.

Pattern calls for:

Main color: 150, 200, 200 grams
Contrast color: 100 grams for all sizes

in the Panda yarn. The older booklet recommends Babygarn or Røros Lamullgarn

Shown shown in the traditional Setestdal black with white patterning.
