Knit.1 Fall/Winter 2008 #21
Design by Mari Lynn Patrick
SKU: K1FW08_21 (649)

Pattern Description fromKnit.1, Fall/Winter 2008:
“Mari Lynn Patrick knit this confection downward in a textured brioche rib pattern, created by knitting stitches in the row below. The raglan armholes are shaped with yarn overs to fashion the eyelets and increase the stitches. The lower edges of the body and elbow-length sleeves draw in with a k1, p1 rib, while the slouchy cowl is picked up at the neckline. Knit it in ‘Inca Alpaca’ by Classic Elite Yarns.”

Materials:

  • 11 (12, 13, 14) hanks in #1198 Persimmon of Inca Alpaca by Classic Elite yarns, 1¾oz/50g hanks, each approx 109yd/100m (alpaca)
  • Sizes 3 and 6 (3.25 and 4mm) circular needles, each in 16” and 24”/40 and 60cm length or size to get the gauge.
  • One size 8 (5mm) needle for binding off
  • Stitch markers

The Measurements:
Due to the nature of the brioche rib, garment will stretch to fit.
