• 26 sts and 32 rows = 4”/10cm using size 5 (3.75mm) needles

Notes:

1. K first and last st of every row for selvage st.
2. use a flexible cast-on, such as the knitted cast-on method, for the back and fronts to allow for enough stretch along the lower edge of the lace pattern.
3. Waist and sleeve shaping is worked by changing needle sizes.
4. Body ruffles are worked separately, then steam blocked, assembled and sewn to the lower edge of the body.
