MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn, (Red Heart Super Saver used for this design.)
Size small (34 - 40 inch chest) : 650 yds for sleeveless without bottom band; add 80 yards for bottom band, add 120 yards for sleeves. Therefore:
size SMALL with sleeves and bottom band: total 850 yards.

Largest size (up to 60 inch chest), will require approx. 1700 yards
for sweater with sleeves and bottom band.

6.5 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
(Beads optional for front cord.)

LEVEL: intermediate, simply because there is no given number of chain stitches for the foundation. You will crochet a chain that is as long as the desired length of your sweater, (in this sample, that was 40 inches long, for a 20 inch long sweater).
Worked as 2 long scarf-like rectangles that are joined in the center.
