2210-13 Marley V-Neck Sweater
Version A: Work sweater from neck down.
Cast on sts for the back. Work back and forth with turning rows for slanting shoulders, before inc for armhole on each side and transfer sts to spare ndl. Cont to knit up sts on each shoulder for left and right front. Inc for v-neck, work turning rows and inc for armholes as for the back, before the two fronts are joined to one. Transfer sts for back and front to the same ndl and work St-st in rnds until dividing at sides for slits. Work each ribbing separately, the back longer than the front. Knit up sts on armhole edge for sleeves. Work St-st in rnds and end with ribbing. Knit up sts at neck and for neckband in ribbing. Work all ribbings k2, p2.
Version B: Work sweater from hem up.
Cast on sts for the back, and work ribbing back and forth. Work 4 cm St-st after ribbing. Work ribbing for front, back and forth. Join front to the back. Back is 4 cm longer than front. Cont St-st in rnds, until dividing at underarms for back and front. Work back with dec for armholes and cast off for slanting shoulders. Divide front for left and right side, and work fronts separately, at the same time dec for v-neck. Cast off for slanting shoulders. Sew shoulders seams and knit up sts around each armhole for sleeves. Work sleeves with St-st in rnds, and end with ribbing. Knit up sts on neck edge and work neckband in ribbing. Work all ribbings with k2, p2. Work sweater with double yarn = 1 strand Sunday + 1 strand Tynn Silk Mohair.
