This garter- stitch blanket begins at the corner with just one stitch and increase out, with mitered short rows creating stripes at the opposite angle. For the block, six squares are knit separately- two in each pattern: black, white and striped- then joined. A 4”/10cm foam cube is inserted before the last seams are sewn.
