An aran sampler blanket. Blanket is worked in strips, with 5 different motifs per strip, and then seamed. A crocheted border is then applied all the way around. There are 5 strips total.

No gauge is given, however, each strip measures approximately 11 1/2 inches. Number of stitches per motif varies, but strips are generally between 42 and 54 stitches wide.
