Pattern description from Vogue Knitting, Winter 2007/08: “Diamonds knit forever all over Deborah Newton’s dolman-sleeve jacket, worked in ‘Riverstone Chunky’ from Louet North America. The separate cowl ruches when buttoned while slit pockets allow for arms-akimbo insouciance.”

“Oversized jacket in allover diamond texture pattern with on-seam pockets, knit-on sleeves with tab-buttoned cuffs and separate buttoned cowl collar. Sized for Small/Medium, Large, 1X and 2X and shown in size Large on page 95.”

  • Nine 1-3/8”/35mm buttons
  • Four 1-1/8”/29mm buttons
  • ¼yd/.25m lining fabric (for pockets)
  • Matching thread
  • Stitch holders

Note: Back is worked with half sleeves added all in one piece and the 2 fronts are worked in same way. Then the pieces are joined with a center sleeve seam after working a finishing trim.
