You start the bag crocheting first the base, then you work the body. You have a schematic for the body, which shows you elongated hexagons (both in cream and charcoal). The body is not worked following the rules of tapestry crochet (even though you can do that, if you prefer!), but you work vertical strips of hexagons (a total of 12 strips), from left to right, joined-as-you-go (JAYG method) using simple slip stitches on the RS of the bag. Believe me its not difficult, just unusual simply because its not used so often : it`s more practical to work in rounds, I reckon that!
