Designer description: This stitch pattern is just a couple of ticks away from being an ordinary garter rib. But what a difference those couple of ticks make. Between the pattern and the yarn, this cowl is almost too cuddly to believe. And the fabric has so much depth that it almost seems three dimensional.

Construction note: This pattern will only work in the round. Do not use these directions to knit something back and forth. In order to duplicate the look in a flat garment, the row repeat must be either 12 or 16.
