Pattern includes
instructions for a standard cowl, and a Mobius Cowl in Bulky/Chunky Yarn
instructions for a standard cowl and a mobius cowl in worsted weight yarn
Because the pattern repeat is just two rounds, it is easy to work on this project as you chat on the phone, or watch a program. (as Pretty as the pattern is to see come to life, you may miss more of the program than you want to)
Yardage given is such a variable, as the pattern holds two different size patterns, and length is entirely up to you. You can get a nice sized cowl from one skein of the Lion Brand Thick and Quick, Wool Ease Yarn (106 yds)
Gauge is also very subjective, and it is not critical to this project. However, If you know that you crochet tightly, jump up a hook size, those with a tighter tension tend to have their stitches pull to the left as they worked in the round.
This is an advanced beginner pattern. Stitches used are
chains, waistcoat double crochet, front post double crochet, and back post double crochet.
