PATTERN NOTES
Weave in loose ends as work progresses, except when fastening
off parts which will require assembly.
Except where noted, work head, legs and arms in the same color (either ebony, nutmeg or hazelnut) throughout for each
ballerina.
Work in continuous rounds; do not turn or join unless otherwise
stated. Mark the first stitch of each round with a stitch marker
and move marker up as work progresses.
Use nutmeg for hair and buns on hazelnut head, ebony for hair
and buns on nutmeg head and hazelnut for hair and buns on
ebony head.
To avoid a floppy neck, when sewing head onto body, stuff neck very firmly. Pipe cleaners can also be added for extra stiffness.
For extra help when sewing pieces on, use straight pins to pin pieces in place to make sure they are even on both sides.
