Simple techniques can sometimes produce the most stunning results! The lace pattern of this eternity scarf is a prime example, only using knit, purl, k2tog, and ssk to create a beautifully intricate looking design.

Stitch markers placed to separate each 20-stitch repeat and careful tracking of which of the 32 rounds you are on are the keys to successfully working this stitch pattern. You can follow the charted or written version, both of which are included in this pattern.

Eternity scarf is worked entirely in the round, with a few rounds of ribbing before and after the lace.

With some patience and care, this deceptively complicated-looking lace stitch will emerge and impress all! Shown here in a vibrant yellow gold color with subtle green tones, but would look great in other solid-colored worsted-weight yarns with excellent stitch defintion.

Sample is knit in The Yarn Collective Pembroke Worsted in Bumblebee Jasper. Other worsted-weight substitutes are suggested above.
