#32 Overlay Blanket
There’s an intoxicating intricacy to Maller’s fringed overlay blanket, constructed from fifteen hexagonal spider-web medallions worked in merino/mulberry-silk “Champagne” from Grignasco Knits/Plymouth Yarn Company. The individual motifs are made separately, sewn together, then attached to a purchased cashmere blanket using lace-weight “Merinosilk 25” and running stitch.
