Pattern description from Vogue Knitting, Spring/Summer 2008: “A provocative cropped raglan pullover by Mari Lynn Patrick, shimmery in ‘Tian” by Ironstone Yarns/Fiesta Yarns, is sure to cause whiplash poolside. The ribbed band that borders the multidirectional piece is worked side to side; stitches are picked up and twisted for the focal front knot, then reattached.“

Additional Gauge: 21 sts = 2.25”/5.75cm, 30 rows = 4”/10cm in k1, p1 rib

Note: Top is constructed beg at the lower back horizontal band which is worked from side seam to side seam. The stitches for the back are picked up along one long edge of rib band and worked to the top edge. The fronts are worked separately by first working the lower band stitches, then picking up stitches along the side seams and work to the center edge.
