#351 Eyelet Detail Tank
Tank tops are a layering basic for so many climates. This one has lovely eyelet lace detailing on the bottom front border with the same floral motifs echoed along the top bodice.
Knit the tank from the bottom up in the round for a seamless project. Shaping to the bust is done with decreases placed along two center lines on the front and back for a pretty seam effect.
At the underarms, the front and back are separated and finished in rows. The front is completed first with armhole shaping, lace along the edges, and a few rows of ribbing at the neckline.
Straps and armhole edgings are picked up and worked together in the round in a unique linen stitch, which adds textural interest and creates sturdier straps less prone to stretching.
