“Tawashi” are various types of scrubbers which could be used to clean dishes, windows, and other household items.
Pattern is Japanese but fully charted using standard crochet symbols.
Hook: Japanese size 7.5/0 = 4.5mm, between US G-6 (4.0mm) and US H-8 (5.0mm).

Additional information
Ringuami seems to be a technique for making flowers with loops of yarn. There are tools you can use for this, such as Clover’s Hana-Ami Flower Loom. The center of the flower is then needle-felted to the tawashi.
