COMING SOON - Pattern update to improve pattern readability. I have grown a lot as a designer and this pattern no longer reflects my pattern writing abilities. As such, I am in the process of a big rewrite which will be followed by testing to ensure this pattern meets my current standards. I appreciate your patience!

Pride shouldn’t just be celebrated in June - it should be celebrated and protected 365 days a year. In honour of this, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be donated to Rainbow Railroad, an organization that helps LGBTQ+ people escape persecution and violence. Donations are made yearly on July 1st. To learn about their mission, please visit https://www.rainbowrailroad.com

YARN
Recommened Colours: Red, Neon Orange, Lemonade (or Super Duper Yellow), Kelly Green, Royal Blue, Iris

With 1 full skein in each colour, you have enough yarn to knit 8 medium size beanies with yarn left over.

NEEDLES
US 7/ 4.5 mm DPNs (or 32+” circular needle for magic loop)
US 5/ 3.75 mm DPNs (or 32+” circular needle for magic loop)

OTHER MATERIALS
Tapestry needle/ knitter’s sewing needle
Stitch marker (optional)

GAUGE
Given the stretchy nature of this pattern, your gauge does not need to be exactly the same as the recommended gauge. Row gauge should be 29-31 rows in beaded rib.

FIT
Beanie sizes are based on preferred fit. The cap style is intended to be comfortably snug and does not fully cover the ears; if you would prefer a toque, see notes in pattern for how to adjust. See photo captions for size reference.
