Pattern Description from Vogue Knitting, Fall 2007: “A couture collage by Fayla Reiss shows how elegant urban-folkloric fashion can be. the strong, extra-long skirt even does double-duty as a striking strapless dress. The shadowbox effect is no accident: The garment is knit in solid panels of Trendsetter Yarns’ ‘Merino Otto’ and striped panels of ‘Pandora’ and ‘Pandora Shadow’ stitch together. A waistband is picked up and knit, then folded and stitched down to provide a casing through which securing elastic is threaded.”

“Standard-fitting long skirt worked in alternating strip and solid panels.”
