The 4th Street Wrap is what happens when you take a couple of left turns from Allison Griffith’s 15th Street Wrap pattern by pairing it with the mesmerizing charm of Wonderfluff and Wonderfluff Ombré.

It’s no secret in our office how much Alexis loves the 15th Street Wrap; it is the perfect pattern for classic minimalism and ideal for cozy winter gifting. In this variation, the construction and stitch pattern remain similar. However, by using an ombré-to-solid-to-ombré color palette in Wonderfluff, the pattern transforms into a lightweight visual symphony that will warm your soul on the coldest days of winter.

This straightforward project is a perfect haven for the beginner and the seasoned knitter alike. The soothing rhythm of knitting the Seed Stitch offers a meditative experience, all while crafting a piece that can become uniquely yours with the array of ombré to solid pairings. Whether elegantly draped over the shoulders, creating a cocoon of coziness while lost in a book, or enveloping you snugly as you face the elements, the 4th Street Wrap is designed to be enjoyed and shared.

This wrap is worked in a single piece, from narrow end to narrow end. It begins with one ball of Wonderfluff Ombré, followed by a ball of regular Wonderfluff in a matching color, and ends with another matching ball of Wonderfluff Ombré to create an extended color transition. The contrast end of Wonderfluff Ombré, MC, is the color that does not match the regular Wonderfluff, CC.
