Gauge:
5.5 stitches and 8 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 15mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

4.5 stitches and 7 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 20mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

5.5 stitches and 12 rows to 10cm (4“) over garter stitch using 15mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.
