This pattern provides instructions for Ladies round and V-neck Waistcoats, knitted in King Cole Homespun Prism DK and Homespun DK yarn.

Gauge:
23 stitches and 34 rows to 10cm (4“) over pattern using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

V-Neck Waistcoat:
Main shade - 5186 Dawn Horizon 3 4 4 5 5 balls
Contrast shade - 5112 Berry 2 2 2 2 2 balls
(Size 1: 5 balls yarn), (Size 2: 6 balls yarn), (Size 3: 6 balls yarn), (Size 4: 7 balls yarn), (Size 5: 7 balls yarn).

One pair each of 3.25mm (UK 10 – USA3) and 4mm (UK 8 – USA 6) needles.
For the Round neck waistcoat you will need 66,6,6,6 buttons ref BT376.
For the V-Neck waistcoat you will need 55,5,5,5 buttons ref BT236.
