Candyland is a truly innovative yarn and adds to the beauty of this easy to make shawl. The yarn is created with a tubular open tube and while the tube is being made, open spun and pre-dyed wool is put inside of the tube stretching the pre-dyed color inside. When the yarn is done, it is washing and the wool inside expands to spread the tube mesh and create a thick yarn that remains light as air. This stitch pattern works a classic garter st. pattern and leaves a stitch not worked every few stitches to create a vertical rib. The pattern is decreased at one end to create a triangle shawl.
