This design is worked with Lana Grossa Cool Merino. The yarn is 100% merino and is chained as a circle to create a tube with an open center that allows the yarn to be thicker but without the added weight. The colors are all lightly tweeded. This design is worked in Shadow Knitting that involves creating ridges by reversing knits and purls so when the light hits the finished piece, the design you created shows. We’ve done a subtle long diagonal zig zag.

The piece is worked flat with one long piece that can be kept open as a wrap or sewn together as a poncho as shown in this design. The pattern is the same either way.
