This sweater is all about color, texture, details and fun. The center of the front/back is knit with Cheerleader, a tubular yarn filled with open wool and a baby sequin. When the finished yarn is dyed, it takes on the strong color and still allows the sequin to sparkle. We used Stride, a multi colored merino tops that is space dyed with an elongated dye stamp. Stride is used for the cable gusset and sleeves that alternate between eyelet lace and classic knitting. Work in colors that highlight each other or go completely different. It works all ways.
